This is just a small picture of what Annalise and Paora’s beautiful elopement was like surround by their friends and family. Annalise and Paora had their elopement in Todos Santos Mexico, just about an hour drive from Cabo. If you are thinking about having in intimate wedding, just you, your lover, and you closest people, this is the blog for you! Keep reading for all the details.
Todos Santos is a small and relaxed town on the coast of the Baja California Sur. Where the desert meets the sea, this is a great place to elopement if you are looking for a more down to earth vibe for your wedding day. Here is a link to another blog where I talk more in depth about this fun little town in Mexico.
One of my favorites parts of elopements is how much I get to see the personalties of my couples. Annalise and Paora are one of the most interesting, fun-loving, and kindest couples I have met. Originally from New Zealand, Annalise and Paora have been together for 14 years, with forever to go. They love adventure and you will catch them traveling to world together. Annalise and Paora truly were one of the kindest couples, and continuously made sure that all their friends and families needs were met even on their very on wedding day. I absolutely loved spending the day with this down-to-earth couple and I could not think of a better way for them to celebrate their love than by having a Mexico elopement.
Annalise and Paora held their Todos Santos Elopement at a beautiful airbnb, where all their family and friends could stay with them and they could spend the week celebrating together. This airbnb had beautiful staircases around every corner (which you will see I utilized in MANY photos), nooks surrounded by cacti, and even a rooftop terrace that overlooked the entire Baja California Sur Ocean.
Annalise and Paora kept up with all the beauty vibes with their wedding outfit choices. Annalise wore a stunning silky slip dress by one of my absolute favorite dress designers, Flora bridal. It had delicate floral details and was perfect for the warmer Mexico climate. Paora wore a white button down shirt, and khaki pants. They both eventually even ditched their shoes and went the rest of the day barefoot.
The florals for this elopement were made by Faby Flores Bespoke which were perfect for this tropical wedding. Annalise’s bouquet had beautiful white orchids and contrasted with red peace lilies. They also incorporated bundles of white roses and other sorts of flowers on their dinner table, where they all would also later celebrate the newly weds with Champaign and churros.
Annalise and Paora’s elopement was kept very intimate with about 10 of their closest friends and family who were able to make it to Todos Santos. They celebrated immediately after their ceremony with toast, hors d’oeuvre, and dancing in the sunshine. They also had a pool that many of the wedding guest were utilizing, the perfect way to cool down. Later in the even, Annalise and Paora held an imitate dinner where they had tacos, churros, and all kinds of yummy local food. They spent the evening making toast, telling old stories, silly jokes, and just simple enjoying each others company.
I so enjoyed getting to be apart of the stunning, unique, and heartwarming elopement day in sunny Mexico. It was such an honor to get to spend the day with such amazing people and are their love for one another. So, if you are thinking of elopement in the sunshine with you closest friends and family, this is your sign to do it!
